Colombian Trade Promotion Agreement

The Colombian Trade Promotion Agreement (TPA) is vital to both our nation’s economy and national security. The TPA weakens trade barriers and encourages American goods and services to be sold to Colombia. It also goes a step further by showing that America stands with their ally against the Marxist regime of Hugo Chavez.

The Colombian TPA needs Congressional approval to send a signal to a few powerful and ruthless leaders that America will always be a powerful supporter of economic and political freedom.
