“Rangel’s Rants” - Exclusive New Web Video

Des Moines, IA – The American Future Fund (AFF) today released the exclusive new web video, “Rangel’s Rants.”

The video highlights the sweetheart deal obtained by Rangel, who chairs the House Ways and Means Committee, for four Harlem apartments. It can be viewed here: www.youtube.com/americanfuturefund.

Just last month, it was reported that Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd received sweetheart deals on two loans, saving him an estimated $75,000. AFF produced a video, and launched phone calls into Dodd’s home state of Connecticut, urging them to contact the senator and calling for a full investigation into the matter.

“This is another example of why Congress is serving with record-low approval ratings,” said AFF Communications Director Tim Albrecht. “Their inaction to solve the energy crisis, combined with their penchant for sweetheart deals, is a constant poke in the eye to hard-working Americans.”
