American Future Fund is releasing a new statewide television ad today in New Mexico entitled “Frustrating.”  The ad addresses the wasteful spending supported by Congressman Martin Heinrich that is crippling our nation’s economy and straining New Mexican pocketbooks.  At a time when our nation is nearly $16 trillion in debt and New Mexico’s unemployment rate stands at 14%, Representatives like Martin Heinrich must be held accountable for their votes supporting reckless investments like Solyndra instead of voters in Santa Fe.  The ad urges voters to contact Congressman Heinrich to stop the wasteful spending that is hurting our economy.

AFF Founder Nick Ryan said, “Like many in Washington, Martin Heinrich talks a good game about fighting for American jobs, but when push comes to shove, his record of wasting the hard-earned tax dollars of his constituents is clear.  Congressman Heinrich needs to be held accountable for his votes in Washington at a time when his constituents are tightening their belts to put food on the table in New Mexico.”

Script: “Frustrating”
The past few years have been frustrating, and disappointing.
Washington says the economy’s better.  But we sure don’t see it.
We’re tightening OUR belts.  But Washington’s spending more, and delivering less.
Martin Heinrich told New Mexico he’d fight unemployment.  But he spent a trillion of our tax dollars on a stimulus for failed companies here… and jobs overseas.
Thousands of New Mexicans remain jobless and unemployment got worse.
Tell Martin Heinrich to stop the wasteful spending that’s hurting our economy.
