American Future Fund is releasing a new television ad in New Mexico today entitled “The Heinrich Record.”  AFF is putting over $100,000 behind the ad statewide, beginning Wednesday, June 6.

The ad highlights US Senate candidate Martin Heinrich’s dismal record of wasteful spending and lack of focus on jobs.  Heinrich promised to make unemployment a top priority, but after only two terms in the US House of Representatives, New Mexico’s unemployment rate has increased 20%.  Heinrich voted for the failed $800 billion stimulus plan and Obama’s trillion dollar health care plan.  Instead of fixing the economy, Heinrich has voted time and time again for trillions in irresponsible spending and plans that raise taxes on small businesses.

“While New Mexico continues losing jobs by the thousands, Heinrich keeps spending into oblivion,” stated AFF Founder Nick Ryan.  ”His votes for trillions of dollars of spending are sending him right over a cliff and he’s taking New Mexico with him.  If Heinrich truly wants to help put the people of New Mexico back to work, he has a funny way of showing it.”

The ad asks viewers to tell Martin Heinrich to put New Mexico taxpayers first and stop the wasteful spending.

ANNCR:

Martin Heinrich promises to make unemployment a top priority.

But since Heinrich went to Washington, New Mexico’s unemployment is up 20% – and we’ve lost thousands of jobs.

Instead of fixing our economy, Heinrich has voted for trillions in irresponsible spending.

For the failed $800 billion stimulus and President Obama’s health care law that costs a trillion dollars – and raises taxes on small businesses.
Tell Martin Heinrich: put New Mexico taxpayers first. Stop the wasteful spending.
