American Future Fund released a new online ad today in response to President Obama’s “framing” speech on the economy.

Despite speaking about jobs more than 200 times previously, President Obama is giving yet another speech today.  But by his own team’s admission, it will be void of any new ideas or solutions.  Why?  Because Barack Obama says “the private sector is doing fine.”

Fine?

  • Unemployment has been above 8% for 40 straight months.
  • 12 million Americans are without a job.
  • Nearly 23% of borrowers are underwater on their loans.
  • Family net worth has plummeted nearly 40%.

“President Obama is so out of touch with reality – he thinks the private sector is doing fine and believes that a second stimulus is his best idea for spurring the economy,” stated AFF Founder Nick Ryan.  ”Apparently Obama’s first $800 billion stimulus failure wasn’t wasteful enough.  This is the definition of insanity.  This, Mr. President, is the opposite of fine.”

Speeches don’t create jobs nor will they make this issue go away for the President.  We need real solutions to put Americans back to work.

The ad asks viewers to tell President Obama we need more jobs.  Not more speeches.
